Jean and I, together with Tony and Jean C, were delighted to represent the Society at the West Midlands NODA Awards Evening in Sutton Coldfield this Sunday.
We were there because we had received nominations for both Best Programme and Best Poster for last year’s production of Hot Mikado.
Unfortunately, we came runner-up in the Best Poster category but were thrilled when it was announced that we had won Best Programme, and had beaten the competition from across all eleven regions of the West Midlands area.
Tony duly went onto the stage to collect the certificate, award and cup from the national NODA president, whilst we cheered from the audience!
Tony has been doing our programmes and posters for 21 years now, and this is a most fitting tribute to all the hard work he puts into the Society. He should be congratulated by us all. Well done!
