On 27 September 2016 we arranged a collection of food items to be donated to Redditch Food Bank.
Not only did our generous members bring along many items of their own, but the Society itself contributed over £200 worth of tins, produce, biscuits and chocolates to the Food Bank that will allow them to make up food parcels and Christmas gift parcels for the needy people of our town.
Sarah Barcham, Project Manager of the Food Bank, came to see us at our rehearsal for The Witches of Eastwick, and was delighted with the amount of goods we had donated, which came to 273Kg in total once weighed in at the Food Bank’s warehouse.
